Seamless Protocol: A Seamless look and feel and a stronger foundation
Seamless Protocol has always prioritized delivering a user experience that seamlessly guides DeFi enthusiasts through every step.
Dedication to this goal has led to the incorporation of numerous user-friendly features, such as the listing of top Base assets and the integration of Jumper Exchange which allows users to effortlessly swap assets and bridge to Base without ever leaving the Seamless App. In a continuous pursuit of improvement, Seamless is excited to announce the redesign of the app interface, called Seamless Mode, aimed at enhancing the overall user experience, start to finish.
This blog post serves as a comprehensive guide to assist users in navigating their actions and behaviors within the Seamless App. Moving forward, further enhancements will be introduced to streamline all functionalities, empowering users to automate their DeFi strategies with Integrated Liquidity Markets (ILMs) and seamlessly supply and borrow liquidity with just a few clicks.
Supplying Liquidity
When users are looking to supply assets, they can do so on the ‘Earn’ tab on the Seamless App’s homepage:
On the Earn tab, users will see a list of available strategies, including assets available to supply.
*Note: Strategies with *LEND* tags are simple supply strategies where assets are used for lending/borrowing purposes.
By clicking into a strategy, users will see relevant details such as TVL of that supply market, available rewards, estimated APY, and oracle price.
Once users have connected their wallet and connect to Base, users are able to supply assets.
This flow of supplying assets is similar to the legacy view of Seamless Protocol (which can be located at https://legacy.seamlessprotocol.com),

Entering an ILM Strategy
Within the Earn tab on the app’s homepage, users can also choose to participate in ILM strategies. For more on ILMs, please check out Seamless’s Introducing ILMs Blog Series!
*Note: Strategies with *ILM* tags are ILM Strategies for users to enter.
By clicking into an ILM, users will see more info on the ILM strategy, TVL details, and estimated APY.
Once users have connected their wallet and connect to Base, users are able to enter ILM strategies.
Managing active positions
To view your active positions of strategies you are participating in, click the ‘My Positions’ Tab. From here you can also add/remove assets to each strategy.
Borrowing Liquidity
To borrow assets, users will temporarily need to click the ‘Legacy Mode’ tab which will take them to the original Seamless App (https://legacy.seamlessprotocol.com/).
From here, users can borrow liquidity, similar to how they’ve done so on Seamless Protocol in the past. Supplied liquidity (whether supplied on the new UI or the original UI) will be recognized as collateral for borrowing purposes.
Claiming Rewards
To claim rewards, users will need to do so via the original Seamless App (https://legacy.seamlessprotocol.com/) where users will see their overall position across Seamless markets and also the amount of available rewards to claim.
Governance and esSEAM
To view claimed esSEAM and delegate voting power, users will need to do so via the original Seamless App on the Governance Tab (https://legacy.seamlessprotocol.com/governance).
